Supernatural Realm Tier Lists: Paths for a First Solo Character

Use an editorial path ranking for one clear goal: a manageable first solo character. Read the comparison’s criteria before treating its grade as a reason to abandon a style you enjoy. Your preferred distance can matter more than a general starting grade.

A useful way into this collection

The ranking compares Vampire, Werewolf, Hunter and Mage under a shared first-character scope. It favors accessible solo progression and a smaller simultaneous learning burden. That makes the letter useful for an opening choice; it does not make the table an official balance patch, numerical damage test or prediction of every duel.

A preferred fighting style can change what the comparison means for you. A player comfortable with distance may enjoy Hunter sooner than its general position suggests, while someone who wants deliberate ability management can choose Mage with that learning goal in mind. Use the full ranking to understand the trade-off, then open the path overview or a direct alternative comparison for the next decision.

Tier Lists Questions

Are these official developer tiers?

No. The S, A, B and C grades are editorial judgments for a first solo character, using qualitative playstyle and learning differences. They are not a numerical strength hierarchy.

Does a lower grade mean I should avoid that path?

It means the path is less favored under this particular starting scope. If its combat style is the experience you want, use its own guide and accept the different preparation or timing demands rather than selecting a character you do not enjoy.
