Supernatural Realm Combat: Controls, Knockdowns and Gripping
Learn the knockdown-to-grip flow, then distinguish ordinary enemy fights from player-versus-player commitments. Desktop and mobile control articles keep their device questions separate from combat tactics. Start with the action that currently prevents you finishing an encounter.

A useful way into this collection
The central combat action is clear: knock an enemy down, then grip to finish the fight. Gripping explains that handoff. PvE Combat adds the question of managing enemies and space, while PvP Combat focuses on committing to a vulnerable opponent without ignoring recovery and counterattack opportunities.
Control familiarity and a good fight decision solve different problems. A device guide helps you find the action you need; it does not make a crowded finisher safe. Start with the input question if you cannot perform the action, then use the appropriate combat article to decide when the action is worth attempting. A path’s preferred distance also matters when choosing your next practice goal.

Combat Questions
Does knocking an enemy down finish the fight?
The official description explicitly includes a grip after the knockdown. Treat those as separate actions, and consider nearby pressure before committing to the finisher.
Should I use the same approach against every target?
No single commitment suits every situation. Ordinary enemies, nearby groups and another player’s recovery create different decisions. The PvE and PvP articles explain those choices without assigning an invented universal combo.
